ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
UncuttArt is a multidisciplinary artist and creative visionary whose practice spans public art, contemporary painting, mixed media, custom apparel, interactive installations, and community-centered creative experiences. A self-taught artist with a degree in Media Arts from Westbury College, Uncutt creates work intended to shift perspective, encourage self-reflection, and inspire connection.
His distinctive visual language, which he calls “strange little pieces,” combines multiple small forms and hidden imagery into larger compositions. Drawing inspiration from everyday life, spirituality, philosophy, and human connection, his work invites viewers to look beyond the surface and discover new meaning.
UncuttArt is the creator of Protect Yo HeART, a public art movement rooted in self-love, self-care, and the protection of one's inner well-being. The message has appeared across cities including New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Las Vegas, Philadelphia, and Atlanta. What began as a personal journey has grown into a broader platform for public art, community engagement, wellness activations, and collective expression.
His selected career highlights include artwork associated with Third Eye Blind’s 2018 release Thanks for Everything, an appearance in Season 2 of Spike Lee’s Netflix series She's Gotta Have It (2019), fashion collaborations, gallery exhibitions, and a yoga and meditation activation in Times Square during NFT.NYC 2022.
Through his work, UncuttArt explores art as a living experience—one that can transform spaces, bring people together, and encourage a more conscious relationship with ourselves and the world around us.
ARTIST STATEMENT
I create transformative art intended to shift the frequency and consciousness of the viewer, as well as the energy of the space it occupies. Working across different mediums, I blend independent public art, custom apparel, painting, mixed media, and interactive experiences to communicate ideas about love, self-reflection, and human connection.
My signature style, UncuttArt’s “strange little pieces,” draws inspiration from life itself. Small individual elements come together to form a larger image, often concealing additional images within the composition. The work rewards curiosity and invites viewers to discover something new each time they look.
I believe art should be seen, felt, and experienced. Whether on a city sidewalk, a gallery wall, a garment, or a shared public installation, my work seeks to create moments of connection and encourage people to protect their hearts, question their perspectives, and recognize the humanity we share.
